It's Summer, Baby!

I don't say this just because it is hotter than the devil's windshield down here in Central Florida and the fact that my kids are now made of 40% popsicle juice, but also because as of this week, I think we have finally hit our rainy season! Whoo-hoo! (Florida rainy season= thunderstorms every afternoon) My father-in-law is the Stake President down here and for the past 2 months has been asking us all to pray for rain. The drought situation really is getting quite desperate. Anyway, our prayers have been answered! (although, I would like him to know that everyone I talk to credits the rain to him personally :) And for the past two days we have been inundated with water- yesterday it rained for about 5 HOURS- a miracle the Vatican definitely needs to look into. Anyway, Cindy graduates from Pre-school today, so let the Summer begin!!! Now, I just have to figure out what to do with these monkeys all day...

Do you ever give your kids popsicles in the bathtub? It works great and less mess on their clothes. Just a fun tip. Enjoyed the post.

Well, I think it was the same lady praying who a couple of years ago when the 3rd hurricane in 3 weeks was approaching said to me: "Somebody in our stake clearly needs to repent. FIND HIM!"
