I need your help...again

So coming up for another one of my blog projects, I need your suggestions and recommendations. I am going to attmept to watch 30 movies in 30 days. I know, I know, you wish you could be as original me... However, if you know me well, this challenge might be next to impossible because I am not really a huge movie fan. In fact, any movie I watch at my house usually includes a good 45-minute nap. But I don't want to just choose any old 30 movies. I want your recommendations. I want to watch movies that everyone in the world has seen but me. I want to watch the favorite movies of my loyal readers. So I need you to comment on the blog or send me an email and give me your thoughts. Tell me what to watch! It could be your favorite movie, a movie you just think everyone should see, something ridiculous from your childhood, whatever! (No rated R movies, of course :) I will try to link every movie I watch to one of you. I will even mention you by name and give a brief bio on you and short history of your life. Okay, maybe not all that information. But highlighting one of my readers each day would be pretty cool. I can tell you are excited :) So lay it on me! And don't worry, I already plan to watch a movie they call "The Notebook." Whatever that's about...

I think everyone should see Jane Austen's lesser known "Persuasion" the 1995, BBC, version. The subtleties of humor, strength, and love, make it the very best novel she ever wrote, and my favorite Austen production. Oh, and it is waay better than watching a show about a spoiled bratty girl with a notebook....But again, that's just one woman's opinion.

Oh! And don't miss out on "Persuasion's" Chopin soundtrack! Breathtaking!

Pride & Prejudice (either version)
Much Ado About Nothing
Bourne series (3- Idenity, Ultimatum, Supremacy)

Pride & Prejudice (the five hour one with Colin Firth... love it!)
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Fletch and/or Fletch Lives
The Dark Knight
Newsies
Confessions of a Shopaholic
When in Rome
You Again (in theaters still, but cute and actually clean)
Funny Farm is good
A Walk to Remember
Fools Rush In

btw, The Notebook was terrible. :) Good luck with your adventure! We watch so many movies at our house, we should do a challenge where we ONLY watch 30 movies in 30 days.

Patton-Academy Award winning performance by George C Scott and, without question the greatest opening scene in the history of movies (OK, maybe a tie with the opening sequence of Star Wars)

The Big Sleep-Classic Film Noir and a the young Lauren Bacall with Bogey can't be beat. The dialogue is a little clipped and hokey, but hey, it was the 40's...

Barefoot in the Park or The Odd Couple-Neil Simon at his best.

Woodstock-I know it's a documentary but the classic rock is, well, classic and the interviews with the hippies tell you everything you need to know about why the 60's generation (mine)is the stupidist generation to ever live.

Wait Until Dark-Creepy music, Katherine Hepburn (need I say more) and truly one of the scariest closing scenes in moviedom. I still have bad dreams about Alan Arkin.

A Hard Day's Night-The first full length rock n roll video, the Beatles play themselves, the music is untouchable....a true classic.

Sorry...it was Audrey Hepburn in Wait Until Dark, not Katherine Hepburn....
