BK in the house!

This past Wednesday my little brother Brian and his fiance Kelly came for a visit. This was Kelly's first time in Florida ever, and would you believe that she did not get to see the sun come out one time? Inconceivable! But we all had fun still the same. Let me just say that we love Kelly. She is amazing. She is fun, she is beautiful, she is patient and kind, she is wacky and totally fits right in with the rest of us Binghams. I am super excited to get to add her to my collection of awesome sisters-in-laws. My picture taking was sporadic during the trip, so between me and my mom, here is what we came up with:

Brian and Kelly with the best gator we found on Thursday. We went down to Circle B Bar Reserve, where you are pretty much guaranteed to see some. However, we only ended up seeing two baby ones :(

Kelly spotted this guy with her eagle eyes. Seriously, I was impressed with her lookout skillz. He looks really creepy in all his swampy-ness, but, thankfully he wasn't too big.

Later that day all us girls went to go see Twlight: Eclipse. I have to say that my sister-in-law Molly is very fun to see a movie with. She really gets into it! That will have to be its own blog post one of these days....

Friday we went to Ft. DeSoto beach. In the rain. For the first hour and a half it was a nice steady sprinkle, sometimes heavier than others. Then about noon it broke up and we had a very pleasant remainder of the day on the beach. In fact, we all got sunburned despite the sun not actually even being out the entire time.
Cindy finally got the mermaid tail she always wanted :)

This picture has given us license to offically nickname my nephew Wyatt, Charlie Brown. He has the perfect little circle curl on his head. So from henceforth he gets to be "Baby Chuck."

The seagulls on the beach are so brazen nowadays, that pretty much this is the only safe way to eat a sandwich out there. You have to literally hide yourself so they don't fly over your shoulder and take half your lunch. (Like they did to my Dad :( Brian and Kelly successfully fooled those gulls with their striped towel fortress!

The best picture of Luke I have ever taken. Hands down.

This time Cindy was big enough to write her own name in the sand :)

Saturday in the World Cup, Spain was playing Paraguay and so Brian busted out his Spanish berets. Good times. And those good luck charms worked because Spain pulled out the win. Ole!

Saturday night we headed over to Chris and Molly's to celebrate 4th of July. We grilled some burgers, visited, and shot off fireworks, of course.

One of the best ways to become a Bingham is to make some sort of cake with frosting and sprinkles. Check. Consider that one done.

I wanted to take one more picture of Brian and Kelly and Chris just had to join in the fun. Kelly didn't miss a beat :) And this made a classic photo.

Here we are enjoying the fireworks display together, from Chris and Molly's garage to avoid the rain. (This seems to be a theme here, huh?)

The girly cousins together again.

All the kids loved Kelly. She was so kind and fun with them. Cindy wants to move in with her.

Wacky face!!!

Saying goodbye to Brian and Kelly. Group hug!!

So there you have it- highlights of the visit. We had a great time with them. Brian, you have officially made yet another great choice in life. The first being picking me for your sister, of course, but marrying Kelly is a very close second. Can't wait for the wedding in 2 weeks! Yes, I did just say 2 weeks. I am flying out to Salt Lake with Cindy for the big day. Stay tuned for the pics, video and stories from that. It is going to be EPIC :)
