A Luke Quickie

Luke is a man of few words when it comes to discussing things he does not like.  In fact, one of his most identifiable qualities is being too shy to tell you when food tastes gross.  Most kids will spit something out in two seconds and tell you they hate it.  Luke on the other hand would probably grimace his way through a bowl of paint if I told him he had to eat it.  Last week when we gave him an oatmeal and butterscotch chip cookie, he went outside to eat it.  Almost thirty minutes later I found him out in the driveway pacing around and holding the cooking with two hands like it was a bug he didn't know what to do with.  I said, "Do you like the cookie?" to which he very excruciatingly and very quietly said, "No." All that time he was outside trying to think of how to get rid of it without anyone knowing.  Oh, Luke.  He's just a tender little guy :)
